Race Description

InClover Pars Report Race Description
  • Date: Date of the race
  • Track: Track code for the track where the race will be held.
  • Distance: Distance of the race in furlongs/miles.
  • Surface: The surface on which the race will be held on.
  • Race Type: Race class code followed by a breakdown of what the class code means.
  • Purse: Total prize money offered for the race.
  • Claiming Price: Claiming price for the race, if applicable. A claiming price is the set amount to buy a horse in a claiming race. This will be left blank if race is not a claiming race.
  • Restrictions: Horse age and sex restrictions for the race.
  • Wager Types: Types of wagers for this race.
  • Post Time: Scheduled start time for the race. Formatted Eastern/Central/Mountain/Pacific timezone. Parentheses indicate the timezone where the race is taking place.

Table Terms

Speed Bias Section:
  • Speed Bias %: Percentage of races won by horses with an early or early/presser run style.
  • Wire-to-Wire %: Percentage of races won in wire-to-wire fashion at this distance on the same surface.
  • Winner 1st Call Avg BL: Average beaten lengths of the winner at 1st call.
  • Winner 2nd Call Avg BL: Average beaten lengths of the winner at 2nd call.
Running Style and Post Position Bias Section
  • Win %: Win percentage of that run style or post position during that timeframe.
  • Bris IV: Bris IV of that run style or post position during that timeframe. Bris IV is a numeric rating for that run style or post position at the track, showing historical track bias during the timeframe. Higher values indicate the track favors that style or post position, while lower values indicate a disadvantage.
  • Most Successful: The run style or post position with the best historical results (wins, in-the-money, or speed) during the specified timeframe.
  • Favorable: The run style or post position that the track historically favors during the specified timeframe. Higher BRIS IV values indicate greater advantage, while lower values indicate disadvantage.
  • PP Group: Grouping of positions.
